Quiz yourself on a note

Multiple choice quizzes from your own notes, with difficulty levels and an adaptive mode.

A quiz tells you what you actually retained, which is different from what you highlighted. Quizzes are part of the Pro and Lifetime plans.

Creating a quiz

Open the note. On desktop, type / and choose Quiz. On mobile, open the apps group on the toolbar and choose Quiz. Before generating, pick a difficulty level of easy, normal or difficult, or switch on adaptive mode.

Adaptive mode

A normal quiz is ten multiple choice questions at the level you picked. Adaptive mode builds a larger bank of thirty across all difficulties and adjusts to how you answer: get questions right and they get harder, struggle and it eases off. It takes longer to generate and uses more tokens, which the toggle tells you upfront.

Taking it

Four options per question, with skip if you want to come back. Results show your accuracy with correct, wrong and skipped counts, and you can restart or shuffle for another pass.

Using it well

The honest move is taking the quiz before rereading the note, because the wrong answers tell you exactly which sections to reread. The day before an exam, one adaptive quiz per topic note is a fast map of where you stand.
