Add images to a note

Paste, drag or pick images on desktop, attach from Photos on mobile, and view them full screen.

Screenshots, whiteboard photos and diagrams sit inline in the note, right where they belong.

On desktop

Three ways: paste an image from the clipboard, drag a file into the editor, or type / and choose Image to pick a file or paste a URL. The dialog also takes alt text, and PNG, JPEG, GIF, WebP, SVG and BMP all work.

On mobile

Tap the image button in the collapsed toolbar, or open the attachments group on the toolbar above the keyboard and choose Image, then pick from your photo library.

Viewing

On mobile, tapping an image opens it full screen where you can pinch to zoom, pan, double tap to zoom and swipe down to close.

Where images live

Images are stored in your local library with the note. If sync is on, they travel to your other devices with everything else.
