A prompt you typed three times is a template. Grape stores them and puts them one tap away.
Creating one
Open Settings and go to Prompts. Add a template with a name, the prompt text and an icon, like Summarize with the text please summarize the current note. Each template has a switch, so you can keep drafts around without them showing everywhere.
Where they appear
Enabled templates show up as Quick Prompts chips in two places:
- The chat, on a fresh conversation. Tapping a chip sends it immediately, and the open note is already in context, so Summarize just works.
- The transcription dialog, where a chip runs against the transcript and opens its result in a separate tab. See Transcribe a recording.
Prompts worth saving
Summarize the current note. Extract every action item as a checklist. Rewrite this politely for email. Explain this note like I am new to the topic. Anything you would otherwise type weekly.
They travel with you
Prompt templates sync with your settings, so a chip you set up on desktop is on your phone too.
