How it works

Enter the email address on your Grape account and we will send you a one-time confirmation link. Opening that link deletes the account immediately and permanently. We ask for the confirmation so that nobody can delete an account by typing someone else's address. The link expires after one hour.

What gets deleted

• Your Grape account and the email address attached to it
• Every note, folder, drawing, flashcard deck, quiz, mind map and chat you synced to the cloud
• Every file and image you uploaded to Grape
• Your app settings, custom prompts, templates and search index
• Any active subscription, which is cancelled as part of the deletion

What is kept, and for how long

• Billing records that Apple, Google and Stripe are legally required to keep for tax and accounting purposes. These sit with those providers, not with us, and are retained for as long as the law requires.
• Notes you never synced. Those live only in the app on your device and are removed when you delete the app.

Everything else is removed the moment you confirm. Backup copies of our database roll off within 30 days, after which no trace of the account remains.

Deleting from inside the app

You can do the same thing on your device: open Settings, go to Data, and tap Delete Account.
